The film tells the story of the life and work of director, cameraman, artist, photographer, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Alakbar Muradov.
The film uses Alakbar Muradov's book "Farewell to the Red Balloon...", fragments from films produced by "Azerbaijanfilm" and an interview with Alakbar Muradov filmed in 2001 (Lider TV, "Kinoman" program).
In the film, family members and friends of the director share their memories of him.
The film was made with the support of the Union of Filmmakers of Azerbaijan.
