Rustam Jabrayilov was born in Lugansk, Ukraine. He moved to Azerbaijan with his family when he was five years old.

He studied at the Faculty of Geography of Baku State University (2004-2008).

After graduating, he worked as a geography teacher for a while. He began his modeling career in 2005. He won the national model competitions “The Best Model of Azerbaijan 2006” and “The Best Model of Azerbaijan 2007”, as well as the “The Best Model of the World 2007” competition. In 2010, he moved to New York City, USA, and enrolled in a specialized modeling school in New York. He worked as a model at “Red Model Management New York City”. In 2012, he studied at “Kingsborough Community College” in New York. He has collaborated with well-known brands and companies, and has participated in numerous advertisements and fashion weeks.

He starred as Jamal in the Russian-produced series "Apricot Bitterness" (2023, directed by Alexander Mokhov).
