Kur - the mother of rivers (2025)
The film crew, searching for the starting point of the Kur River, the largest natural water source in the Caucasus, heads to the Allahu-Akbar mountain range. After several attempts, the crew, who reached the top of the mountain, finally manages to find the source of the river. Thus begins the 1,515-kilometer Kur world journey, which begins in Turkey and ends in Azerbaijan, in the Caspian Sea.
The main idea of the film is to highlight the historical, cultural, and economic role of the Kur River from the past to the present and to express its importance for humanity.
The film was shot from the source of the Kur River to its mouth - in Turkey, Georgia, and Azerbaijan.
The film was shot with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the organization of the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.
