Yuri Omelchenko was born in Baku.
He studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.
He worked as an actor at the Baku Municipal Theater, the Young Spectator Theater, and the Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theater (1997-2024).
He starred in the Russian-made TV series “Drongo” (2002, directed by Zinoviy Royzman).
