Farshid Alizadeh was born in Ardabil.
He studied cinema and photography at the Cinema Association Academy (1989-1992).
After graduation, he worked in the field of photography and cinema. The films he worked on have won awards at various international festivals. He was awarded the Best Photographer of Iran Award (2016). In 2018, a photo book of Ardabil province was published with his authorship. His first solo photo exhibition was held in 2014. He has been working as a focus puller in Azerbaijan for more than 20 years. He has been managing “Gobu Film” since 2023.
