THE DOCUMENTARY FILM "DREAM OF HEAVEN" WAS PRESENTED
On March 11, the Heydar Aliyev Center hosted a presentation of the feature-documentary film “Dream of Heaven”, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Mirza Gadim Iravani, a portrait and ornamental painter, the founder of easel painting. The film was produced by order of the Ministry of Culture within the framework of the “Creative Azerbaijan” Action Plan. The screenplay tells about the life and work of Mirza Gadim Iravani, as well as the historical and cultural heritage of the ancient city of Iravan.
The film’s script was written by Yavar Rzayev, its director was Elkhan Jafarov, its cameraman was Ruslan Agazadeh, and its artist was Sabuhi Atababayev. The film used the symphonic mugham “Zabul-Segah” by composer, People’s Artist Vasif Adigozalov for the first time.
