A NEW ANIMATED FILM NAMED “BUM-BUM” WILL BE FILMED
The Azerbaijan Animation Association will produce a short animated film called “Bum-Bum”. The film, which will be produced with the support of the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, will be realized within the framework of the “Preparation of a New Animation Product and Master Classes” project, which won the Agency’s 2025 large, medium and small grant competition. The production of the “Bum-Bum” film will begin in May and is planned to be delivered by the end of 2025. The film will be based on the motifs of the “Bum-Bum” poem written for children by the writer Vagif Samadoglu.
In addition to the “Bum-Bum” film, other animated films are planned to be shown in the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in the cities of Khankendi and Lachin, under the names “ANIMAFILM in Khankendi” and “ANIMAFILM in Lachin”. Screenings of these animated films will be held as part of the 8th ANIMAFILM International Animation Festival organized by the Association, and master classes on the topic of animated film production will also be organized.
