Yusif Yulduz (Yusif Aliyev) was born in Baku.
He studied at the Leningrad Institute of Dramatic Art at the Faculty of Director and Drama Actor (1923-1928).
He began his career at the Academic Drama Theater. He is the first Azerbaijani theater director to receive professional education. His first performance in Azerbaijan was "At the Bottom of Life" (M. Gorky). He worked in Tatarstan, Baku, Tbilisi, Iravan, Nakhchivan (1936-1937), Shamakhi, Ganja Theater (1950-1952). Since 1955, he worked as an assistant director, director, and dubbing director at the "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio.
Yusif Yulduz died in 1979.
