Vidadi Rustamov was born in Baku.

From 1992 to 2006, he was engaged in private business. Since 2006, he has been working as a producer in the film industry. For some time, he worked as a director at the Buta Film film company.
Producer Vidadi Rustamov is the brother of director Asif Rustamov.
