Tukezban Ismayilova was born in Baku.

She studied at the Asaf Zeynalli Music College (1939-1944).

During World War II, she gave concerts at the front as part of the agitation brigade. She was a singer of the choir of the Azerbaijan Radio Committee (1946-1949), a soloist of the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic (1939-1946, 1949-1978), a soloist of the Azerbaijan State Touring-Concert Union (1978-2008).

She worked as a teacher at the Art Gymnasium (1994-2004).

Mugham, tasnif, folk songs and composer songs occupied a prominent place in her repertoire.

Honored Artist (1967), People's Artist (1993), laureate of the "Order of Glory" (1998) Tukezban Ismayilova died in 2008 and was buried in the II Alley of Honor
