Tamilla Rustamova (Tamilla Rustamova-Krastinsh) was born in Baku.

She studied piano at the Gnesin Institute of Music (1959).

She continued her musical career. In 1969, she married vocalist Olgerd Krastynsh and lived in Riga.

Tamilla Rustamova died in Moscow in 2020, where she was buried.
