Tahir Imanov was born in Baku.

He studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (1991-1996).

He was a member of the "Parni iz Baku" KVN team (1991-2001). He was the KVN champion in 1992, the owner of the KVN "Summer Cup" in 1995, and the KVN "Champion of the Century" in 2000.

In 2001, he created the "Planet Parni iz Baku" KVN Theater.

He is an actor in the Russian-made film "The Bremen Musicians" (2000, directed by Alexander Abdulov), an actor and producer in the film "Kilimanjara" (2018, directed by Katerina Telegina).

He is currently the artistic director, director and actor of the "Planet Parni iz Baku" KVN Theater, the founder of "Planeta Parni iz Baku Films".

He is an Honored Artist (2011).

Actor, producer, director Tahir Imanov is the brother of actor Jabir Imanov.
