Taghi Babayev

Taghi Babayev was born in Mehri district of Zangezur district in Western Azerbaijan.

He studied at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Radio Broadcasting of the Azerbaijan Polytechnic Institute (1966-1972).

Since 1967, he has worked at the "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio as a sound technician, senior sound technician (1967-1973), engineer of the control and measurement laboratory in the sound shop, senior engineer (1973-1974), technical manager, head of the shop (1975-1980), head of the sound recording department (1975-1980), deputy director of the film studio for technical issues (1980-1986), head of the technical control department (1986-1987), head of the sound shop's dubbing sector (1987-1988), head of the production department (1988-1991), deputy director for production and financial affairs (1991-1992), head of the technical service department, head of the sound shop (1992-2002), chief engineer (2002-2021).

He is an Honored Worker of Culture (2007).
