Sughra Baghirzadeh (Sughra Sadigova) was born in Baku.

She studied at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, majoring in High Molecular Engineering and Technology.

She has devoted her life to art since childhood. She represented Azerbaijan as a soloist with the “Cucjalarim” children's song and dance ensemble at the Decade of Azerbaijani Culture in Moscow (1959). Her performance of “Cucjalarim” accompanied by the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Niyazi, was included in the “Best Children's Voices of the World” musical, released at the Artek pioneer camp. At the age of 12, she was invited to the talented “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio as a dubbing actress. While studying in the 8th grade, she starred in the short film “Yollar ve kuselerle”. Later, she was invited to the role of Yeter in the film “Ulduz”. She starred in the role of Maria in the film “Bu Bu, Sambar ve ilaxhir…” by VGIK graduate director Ermenio de Souzo Oliveira. After graduating from university, he worked as an engineer at the Scientific Research Institute for a while, and then at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio. He also worked in the field of dubbing. Since 1990, he has been interested in floristry. This interest, which began as a hobby, turned into a profession for him. He is the founder of the “Floristika” Art Support Public Association.

He was awarded the title of “Honorary Doctor” of the International Academy of Sciences for Turkic World Studies (2015), the “Golden Star” and “Cultural Man of the Year in the Turkic World” awards of the International Awards Committee (2016), the “Benefit, Honor and Glory” order of the United Nations Council for Public Awards of the International Awards Union (2016), the “Progress” medal (2018), and the “Leonardo Da Vinci” medal by UNCOPA (2021).

He is an Honored Artist (2008).
