Solmaz Suleymanli was born in Baku.

She studied at the Pushkin Literary Institute in Moscow.

Her first job as a journalist was at the ATV international channel, where she prepared news in Russian. She worked as an employee of the “Seda” news program and the host of the “Zaif band” program on Lider television.

She has been writing poetry since a young age, and her books have been published.

Actress Solmaz Suleymanli is the daughter of actor Shamil Suleymanov.
