Sevda Aghazadeh

Sevda Aghazadeh was born in Baku.
She studied at the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy (1975-1980).
After graduating from university, she worked as an engineer-programmer at the Institute of Energy of the National Academy of Sciences (1980-1985). She started working on the radio after participating in the announcer competition of the Azerbaijani television. After working on the radio for two months, she was the announcer of the main news on television from 1985 to 2000. She was the host of the program “A Moment of Life” and worked as a leading editor at the “Telefilm” Creative Union. Since 2022, she has been teaching the “Speech Culture” specialty at the Television and Radio Academy of Television. She is the head of the projects of the Anthem of the Television and Radio Academy and the “Little Stories” competition.
She is an Honored Artist.
