Shafag Aliyeva

Shafag Aliyeva was born in Baku.

She studied at the Drama and Film Acting Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1978).

She has been acting on stage since 1976. Her first role was Leyla in the play “Why Do You Live?”.

She has been an actress of the Young Spectators Theater since 1978.

She also works in the field of dubbing and voice-over.

She was awarded the “Artist” medal of the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan (2016). She is an Honored Artist (2013).

Actress Shafag Aliyeva is the wife of actor and director Rafig Aliyev.
