Samsor Mangal was born in Baku.

He studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Architecture and Construction (2000-2004).

He worked as a sound director at Azerbaijan Film Production and “Pik” Production (2012), as a lighting engineer at “Cinealliance” (2012-2013) and at the Baku Media Center (2013-2021). He was a lighting engineer in the Russian-made film “Kilimanjara” (2018, directed by Yekaterina Telegina).
