Samad Hatamov

Samad Hatamov (Samad Yusifjanli) was born in the village of Yusifjanli, Agdam.
He studied at the Faculty of Drama and Film Acting of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1984).
After graduating, he was an actor at the Agdam State Drama Theater for a while. He worked as a director at the Agdam District Culture House, an instructor at the Agdam District Trade Union Organization, and a consultant at the Humanitarian Department of the Agdam District Executive Power (1988-1993).
After the occupation of Agdam District, he lived as an IDP in Imishli District (1993-2000). He has been living in Baku since 2000.
He is mainly engaged in dubbing and voice-over work.
He has collaborated with Lider TV, ITV, Khazar TV, and Space TV in the field of dubbing. He has been working on Azerbaijani television and radio since 2018. He hosts the “Bulag” program on the radio.
He is the Deputy Chairman of the Umid Party for Social and Humanitarian Issues and the Chairman of the "Return to Homeland" Public Union (since 2015).
