Shahin Hasanli (Shahin Hasanov) was born in Baku.

He studied at art school No. 84 (1987-1990), and at the Azerbaijan State Art School named after Azim Azimzade (1992-1994). He took art classes in the workshop of artist Togrul Sadigzade.

Since 1990, he has worked at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio.

He is an assistant artist for the film “Destroyed Bridges” (1996, USA, director Rafig Puya) by foreign film producers, a costume designer for the series “Count Krestovsky” (2004, Russia, director Ramiz Fataliyev), a costume designer for the film “Arzular” (2005, Iran, director Rahbar Ganbari), a costume designer for the film “The Road to Mother” (2016, Kazakhstan, director Akan Satayev), and an artist for the series “Gunbatan News” (Iran).
