Sadig Huseynov was born in the village of Atakishili, Kurdamir.
He worked at the Azerbaijan Drama Theater until 1974. He was an actor of the theater studio, working under the "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio. In the 1990s, he became famous for his role as the wise Savalan baba in the children's television program.
