Ruslan Huseyn (Ruslan Huseyn / Ruslan Huseynov) was born in Kazakhstan.

He studied at a music school in Baku, at the Theater Directing Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (2003-2007).

For some time he was a member of the “Cujalarim” ensemble of the T. Ismayilov Palace (vocalist).

He worked as a designer-artist at the Nizami Museum (2005-2007), as a set designer, assistant director, and director at AzTV (1999-2007). Since 2007, he has been a director at ITV.

The film “Master Yusif’s Kamancha” was awarded the “Golden Fairy” award in the “Best Debut” nomination (2015).
