Rufat Ramazanov

Rufat Ramazanov was born in Baku.
He studied at the Bulbul Secondary Specialized Music School (1977-1986), the Asef Zeynalli Baku Music College (1986-1990), the faculty composition course (under the leadership of L. Weinstein), and the Composition Faculty of the Baku Music Academy (1990-1995, class of Kh. Mirzazade).
He was engaged in scientific and pedagogical activities at the Baku Music Academy (1997-2018).
He is the author of musical works written in various genres. His works have been performed in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, Israel, Norway, Germany and Canada.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Azerbaijan Composers' Union. Currently, he works as a commission member in the "symphonic, choral and stage music" section of the Composers' Union.
