Rovshan Isakh (Rovshan Mammadov) was born in Ganja.

He studied at the Drama Theater and Film Actor Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1988-1992).

He worked as an actor at the State Youth Theater (1993-1994), the State Pantomime Theater (1994-1995). He worked as a director on ANS TV, the program “Virtuoz” on Azerbaijan Television, and Space TV. He was the executive director of the Azerbaijani branch of Samanyolu Television (1998-2001).

He was engaged in pedagogical activities at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1993-1998).

He is currently the director of “Pozitiv Media”. He is the director of dozens of commercials, feature films, and TV series.

He is a laureate of the “Golden Fairy” Professional Cinema Award. He was awarded the “Teraqqi” medal (2024).
