Rashad Mehdiyev

Rashad Mehdiyev was born in Baku.

He studied at the Azim Azimzadeh Art School, the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts, and the Mimar Sinan Art University (1991).

His paintings have been exhibited in individual and group exhibitions in many countries around the world.

Since 1996, he has been working as a senior lecturer at the Azerbaijan Academy of Arts, and since 2013, he has been an associate professor.

He holds a PhD in Art History (2008), and is an Honored Artist (2015).
