Ramiz Mammadov was born in Baku.
He studied at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts.
In 1975, while still a student, he was invited to the Musical Comedy Theater.
He played various roles in the programs “Morning Meetings”, “Humorous Novels”, “Journey to the World of Comedies” of Azerbaijani television.
Honored Artist (2001), People's Artist (2013) Ramiz Mammadov died in 2021 and was buried in the Yasamal cemetery.
