Rahman Alizadeh was born in Baku.
He studied at the Cultural and Educational Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1972).
He worked as an artistic director at the Nizami House of Culture in the Mardakan settlement (1968-1983), director of the Mardakan People's Theater (1983-1993), chief director of the Azerbaijan State Puppet Theater (1993-2006 / 2009-2013), chief director of the Azerbaijan Youth Theater (2006-2009). His plays were staged.
Honored Artist (2000), President's Prize laureate (2002) Rahman Alizadeh died in 2013.
