Rafiga Masud

Rafiga Masud (Rafiga Budagova) was born in Baku.
She studied at the Faculty of Economics of Azerbaijan State University, the Arabic Language Department of the Institute of Foreign Languages, and the Institute of Journalism.
She began working at the Baku Library Technical School in 1963. From 1978, she worked at the Azerbaijan State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting. Starting in 1997, she served as Deputy Editor-in-Chief at the "Telefilm" Creative Association. She is the author of nearly 50 feature and documentary films. She has published articles in the magazine *Azerbaijan Gadini* and the newspapers *Azerbaijan Ganjlari* and *Baku*.
She holds the title of Honored Cultural Worker (2006).
