Oleg Safaraliyev

Oleg Safaraliyev was born in the Jambul region of Kazakhstan.
He studied at the History Faculty of the Azerbaijan Pedagogical Institute (1973), the Baku Komsomol School under the Higher Party School (1975), and the Directing Faculty of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (1988, Sergey Solovyov's course).
For ten years he worked as a history teacher at secondary school No. 1 in Salyan.
In 1988, he was invited to "Mosfilm". He began to live permanently in Russia. He worked on Russian "ORT", "RTR" and other TV channels (1993-2003). He was the chief producer of the "Eurasia-film" film company (1995-2005).
In 1991, he staged the play "Inside the Family" at the Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theater.
He participated in the production of the Russian-made films "Live Broadcast" (1989, director), "The President and His Wife" (1996, screenwriter, producer), "The Snow Queen" (2006, director Elena Rayskaya, executive producer), "Ka-De-Bo" (2007, director, screenwriter, producer), "Savva Morozov" (2007, director, series), "Petrovka 38, Semyonov's Team" (2009, one of the directors, series), "Find Me" (2010, director), "Crazy Anniversary" (2011, creative producer), "Angel on Duty-2" (2012, director, series), "Women and Other Problems" (2014, director, series).
He currently lives in Azerbaijan. He is the secretary of the Union of Filmmakers of Azerbaijan, head of the Film School.
