Nijat Dadashov was born in Baku.

He studied International Law at Baku State University (2007-2011), and Dramaturgy at Rustam Ibrahimbeyov's Film School.

His story "A Moment of Life" (2014), and the novel "Our Time Has Passed" (2021) were published.

Since 2015, he has worked as a screenwriter at "Mediamaster Production".

He is one of the winners of the "Outstanding Azerbaijanis of Russia" documentary film script competition of the Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan (2020).

He is the founder and head of Cineart Group.
