Nazim Pishiyari was born in Lankaran.
He studied at the classical guitar and general piano department of secondary music school No. 26 in Baku (1985). He took private vocal lessons at the Azerbaijan State Conservatory (1988-1991).
He has been on the professional stage since 1990. In 1995, he founded the group "Kainat".
