Nazim Huseynov

Nazim Huseynov was born in Baku.
He graduated from the Oil and Mining Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Oil and Chemistry (1990), and the Academy of Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation, specializing in State and Municipal Administration (2018).
He worked as the financial director of the “215 KL” Independent Television Company (1992-1997, 1999-2010), the director of the advertising and commercial department at the Space Teleradio Company (1997-1999), the deputy director, director (2013-2024) of the “Salname” Documentary Film Studio, the acting director (2020) and director (2022-2024) of the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio.
He was the executive director of the II Baku International Sports Film Festival, the III, IV, V Baku International Tourism Film Festival. He is the producer of several feature films and more than 60 documentaries.
He is an Honored Worker of Culture.
