Natig Shirinov was born in Baku.
He studied drums at the Tofig Ismayilov Music School (1984-1986) and Music School No. 6.
For a while he accompanied Alim Gasimov. In 2001, he founded the Natig Rhythm Group.
He is a People's Artist (2018).
