Naila Mirmammadli was born in Baku.
She studied piano at the Bulbul Secondary Specialized Music School (1968-1979), musicology, conducting, choirmaster, vocals, arrangement, orchestration at the Azerbaijan Pedagogical Institute (1981-1985), and musicology and composition at the Baku Music Academy (1994-1997, Tofig Guliyev's class).
He worked as a concertmaster at the “Azkonsert” association (1980) and the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (1980–1981), a teacher at school number 190 (1985–2004), at the Bulbul Secondary Specialized Music School (1994–2004), at the European Lyceum (1994–2004), a choirmaster and ensemble leader at the “Banovsha” choir (1994–2004), an associate professor and senior lecturer at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (2003–2021), and a director and senior lecturer at the Culture and Creativity Center of Baku State University (2020–2021).
He is the author of scientific articles, lesson plans, and songs on choral arrangement, instrumental studies, music, and its teaching.
Honored Artist (2007) Naila Mirmammadli passed away in 2021.
Composer Naila Mirmammadli is the wife of composer Hikmet Mirmammadli.
