Musallim Hasanov

Musallim Hasanov was born in the village of Shishtepe, Shamkir.
He studied at the Faculty of Journalism of Azerbaijan State University (1980-1985).
He worked as a department head and deputy editor at "Azernashr" (1985-1989), "Yeni Fikir" newspaper editorial office (1989-1992), "Mustaqil Qazet" (1992-1996), department head at "Panorama" newspaper (1997), head of the press service at the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan (1997-2000), department head at "Bizim Asr" newspaper, editor at "Lider" television (2002-2008), Public television (2010-2013), Baku Media Center (2014-2022).
He was awarded the 3rd degree "Labor" Order (2025). He is a laureate of the Supreme Media Award (2016), Honored Cultural Worker (2018).
