Mirakif Seyidov (Akif Seyidov) was born in Ordubad.
He studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art, majoring in Cinema Studies (2001-2007).
He worked as Deputy General Director of Medline-Service (2004-2011, Russia), an employee of Nakhchivan State Television. He was the author and presenter of the project “Bu kino ki var...” (2023), broadcast on Nakhchivan Radio.
Since 2015, he has been the director of the Nakhchivan State Film Fund.
