Mehriban Vazir

Mehriban Vazir (Mehriban Vazirova) was born in Tartar.
She studied at the Faculty of Journalism of Azerbaijan State University (1982).
She worked in various positions as a correspondent, editor, department head, and presenter at the Azerbaijan State Television and Radio Committee (1978-1999), Sara TV (1999), and GünAz TV (2003–2007). Television shows have been produced based on her stories. She is the author of more than 40 stories, more than 300 articles, and books. She regularly appears in the press with political and artistic journalistic articles, as well as historical research. She taught at Khazar University (2000-2005).
She is the director of the Azerbaijan Women's Political Culture Center (AQASIM) Public Union and the Media and Democracy Institute Public Union (2010).
