Malahat Abbasova

Malahat Abbasova was born in Pirshagi.
She studied at the Drama and Film Acting Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (courses of Mehdi Mammadov, Azerpasha Nematov, Shafiga Mammadova).
At the age of 21, she starred in the film-play “You Are Always With Me”. She worked at the Azerbaijan State Drama Theater until 1991.
She has lived in Turkey since 1991. She is an actor and director of the Istanbul Municipal Theater. Since 2016, she has been the deputy artistic director of the City Theaters affiliated with the Istanbul Municipality.
