Mahluga Sadigova was born in Shusha. In 1930, she moved to Baku with her family.

She studied at the Dental Technical Faculty of the Baku Medical College (1936).

While still a student, she was involved in dance and drama clubs. In 1936, she was accepted into the troupe of the Academic National Drama Theater, and her first role was the image of Firuza in the play "Shahnameh". She worked in this theater for 54 years. Since 1992, she has been an actress at the Baku Municipal Theater. For more than 40 years, she was one of the performers of the "Bulag" folklore-ethnographic program of the radio. She was closely involved in the dubbing department of the "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio.

Honored Artist (1949), People's Artist (1978) Mahluga Sadigova died in 2003.
