Mahir Ordubadi

Mahir Ordubadi (Mahir Ibrahimov / Mahir Ordubadi-Ibrahimov) was born in Ordubad.
He studied at the Asef Zeynalli Music College (1989-1993), the faculty of choral conducting of the Baku Academy of Music (1998-2002).
He worked as a music director at the Baku Inshaatchilar Palace of Culture (1991-1993), a tar teacher at the Ordubad City Music School (1997), a composer at the “Körpam” Experimental Children’s Theater (1999), and the music director of the Children’s Theater of the Baku City Department of Culture (2002). He was the music director of the television projects “Yeni ulduz”, “Gızıl duet”, “Azeri Star”, “Çal Çalığır”, “Burda ve indi” (2003-2012).
In 2005, he founded and headed the “ART Global Production” (AGP) company. The AGP company is engaged in film production, music arrangement, recording, composition, dubbing and other services.
Since 2016, he has been working as the head of the Folklore Studio of the Institute of Folklore of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
