Leyla Dostalizadeh

Leyla Dostalizadeh was born in Baku.

She studied at the Azerbaijan State Medical University (1986-1993).

She worked as a pediatrician-resuscitator in the intensive care unit of Clinical Children's Hospital No. 3 (1994-2006).

Since 2006, she has worked as an office manager at the Narimanfilm film studio, then as a line producer, and as an assistant to the Baku office of the Independent Cinema Association of the South Caucasus (IFA-SC). In 2012, she became the deputy director of Narimanfilm. She worked as a freelancer for a while (2012-2019). During this time, she worked as a location manager on the films of foreign film producers “Ali and Nino” (2015, Great Britain, directed by Asif Kapadia) and “Kilimanjara” (Russia, 2018, directed by Yekaterina Telegina).

Since 2019, she has been working as the deputy director for public relations at Narimanfilm.

He is the artistic director of the "Salam International Youth Film Festival", founded in 2019.
