Latifa Aliyeva (Latifa Jahandargizi) was born in the village of Yukhari Salahli, Gazakh region.
She studied at the Faculty of Drama and Film Acting of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1964-1970).
Since 1967, she has been working at the Young Spectators Theater. She is one of the skilled performers of the "mother" roles.
She starred in the Iranian films “Dungeon of the Giants” (1992) and “Dreams” (2005).
Honored Artist (2000), People's Artist (2018).
