Jeyhun Shukuroghlu

Jeyhun Shukuroghlu (Jeyhun Jumshudov) was born in Davachi (Shabran).

He studied at the Faculty of Theater and Film Acting of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1997-2001).

He worked as an actor at the Azerbaijan State Youth Theater, as a director on Azerbaijan Television and Public Television (2006-2019), and on Space TV (2021-2022). He directed the programs “The Magic of Words”, “Literary Encyclopedia”, “Azerbaijani Classics”, “Miniatures”, “Feuletons”, “The Tale of a Village”. He directed a series of documentary films dedicated to the National Heroes of Azerbaijan (2014-2015, Public Television). He was awarded the “Fedai” and “For the Motherland” medals for his films on the theme of patriotism (2017). He is the Head of the Press Service of the Public Union of Veterans of the Karabakh War and Martyrs' Families of Azerbaijan (2019). Since 2022, he has worked as a producer on Azerbaijani television.
