Jeyhun Mirzayev (Jeyhun Jamal) was born in the village of Abdal-Gulabli, Agdam.

He studied at the Directing Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts and in Moscow.

About 35 years of his 48-year life were connected with cinema, and when he was 12 years old, he was invited to play the main role in the film "Stepmother". He worked in various professions at the "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio: assistant, assistant director, actor, director. He had a strong parody talent. The buzzing sound in the title of the "Mozalan" film magazine belonged to him. He shot plots for the satirical film magazine "Mozalan" of the "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio. For a while, he was the artistic director of "Mozalan".

He starred in the film "Companions" (1962, directors Yuri Romanovsky, Alexander Milyukov, Mikhail Tereshchenko / Ukraine) by foreign film producers as Miguel, in the film "The Black Seagull" (1962, director Grigory Koltunov / Russia) as Manolo, and in the film "Snipers" (1985, director Bolotbek Shamshiyev / Kazakhstan) as Salayev.

He filmed the plots "Black and White" (1982, N241), and "Reaction" (1986, N284) for the Russian film magazine "Fitil".

Jeyhun Mirzayev died in 1993 and was buried in the Yasamal cemetery.
