Jamila Taghizadeh (Jamila Taghiyeva) was born in Baku.

She studied at the Azerbaijan State Cooperative College (2005-2007), the Faculty of Acting at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts (2009-2013).

She worked at Myvideo TV (2014–2017), Lider TV (2014), and GünAZ TV (2017). She starred in the films of foreign film producers “Ana yurdum” (2012, directors Nadir Sayever, Ali Taherfar / Iran) and “Ali and Nino” (2015, director Asif Kapadia / Great Britain).

Due to family circumstances, she currently lives in Turkey.
