Jahan Azer

Jahan Azer (Jahan Mammadova / Jahan Safarova) was born in Sumgayit.

She studied at the Republican Art Gymnasium, the Faculty of Television Directing of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (2006-2010, Tariyel Valiyev's course), and the Faculty of Cinema and Television of the Marmara University in Turkey.

She was engaged in dubbing and voice-over work at Lider TV, ITV, ATV, ANS and Khazar television (2006-2013).

She starred in the Turkish film producers' series "Shafqat Tepe" (2013) as Havin and in the series "Galib Dervish" (2013-2014).

She currently lives in Turkey. She works on a social project called "Fattening Frames" with her husband, director and photographer Savash Chikrak, and does free photo shoots of people in exchange for food bought for stray animals.

Actress Cahan Azer is the daughter of actress Yasemen Malik.
