Ismayil Dadashov was born in Baku.
He studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Arts.
He worked as a music editor at Azerbaijan Television and Radio, Space TV, and at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio.
During his school years, he showed a passion for literature, theater, and cinema, and began writing poetry. In 1978, his words were first set to music.
Honored Worker of Culture (2011) Ismayil Dadashov died in 2020.
