Iman Majidov

Iman Majidov was born in Baku.
He studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1989-1994).
He worked as an assistant director, director, chief director (1992-2006) at the Azerbaijan State Television and Radio Company, as the head of the Culture Department at Space TV (2006-2021) and as the artistic director (2021-2023). Since 2023, he has been working as the head of the Author's Programs and Creativity Department at Baku TV.
He was the project manager and director of the program "Culture Hour", a joint project of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and SPACE TV. He was the winner of the "Best Television Director of the Year" (2005) and "Best Journalistic Work on Culture" competitions held by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (2007). He was awarded the "Golden Lantern" award (2006) and the Jafar Jabbarli Award (2024) for "Best Criticism and Promotional Work". He is a director and project manager of various films and programs.
Director Iman Majidov is the son of director Amirhuseyn Majidov.
