He studied at the Faculty of Law of Baku State University (1995-2002), and at the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law (2011-2012).
He worked at BP and Baker McKenzie.
In 2008, he founded and headed Ekvita LLC.
He is the founder and director of Shahdag Production Group.
