Igbal Aliyev was born in Baku.

In 2004, he began his career as an actor at the Azerbaijan State Puppet Theater. A few months later, he was appointed the theater's artist. For a while, he was the artist of the Azerbaijan State Theater for Young Spectators. Since 2014, he has returned to the Puppet Theater and is currently its chief artist.
